Liverpool's football star Diogo Jota, 28, dies in car crash in Spain
03 July 2025Liverpool striker Diogo Jota, 28, and his brother Andre Silva were killed in a car crash in Spain's Zamora province early Thursday, according to the Spanish civil guard. Jota, who got married on June 28, helped Liverpool win the Premier League last season and also won the FA Cup and League Cup with the Merseyside outfit.

More than 1,000 evacuated as fierce winds stoke wildfire on Crete

US weapons: 'Ukraine is turning towards its other allies'

Cooler temperatures coming to Europe after scorching heatwave
